We loved the localization, in a quiet valley close to Huangshan and the super kindness of the hosts, that took care of us almost as family members. Shon, the tenant, speaks good english and understands very well what our needs are.

Aia ja mäevaatega külalistemaja Huangshan Xidi Shang De Tang asub ajaloolises hoones Yi linnas, 44 km kaugusel Bright Summit Peakist. Nice econòmic room in the hearth of Xidi village. Xidi village is wonderfull and calm. Good restaurant downstairs Friendly people even dont talk any english.

Amazing location in Old Street area hard to find so call ahead or take the offer of collection. Wang is an amazing host take up the offer of private car to all the sites for the day cost 350 Yuan. Remember the electric blankets in winter months.

Set within 35 km of Heavenly Capital Peak and 37 km of Nine Dragons Waterfall in Yi, 杏竹斋客栈 provides accommodation with seating area. Very beautiful Chinese traditional big apartment at the 4th floor, with big and nice livingroom, 2 bedrooms, toilet, washing machine. Very good for family. The host is super nice and suportive, he can speak a little English, he walk with us and guide to buy ticket with half price.

Huangshan Old Street Courtyard asub ajaloolise Tunxi vana vana vana kivi- ja puumaja ääres ning on rahulik pelgupaik linnakärast eemal. I was delighted with my stay. The experience of a hotel is obviously different than staying at this traditional house (e.g. colder, less comfy bed etc.) but this only added to the authentic charm. The position is fantastic, as I had my balcony on the high street. Clean environment. Loved the bed warmer. Communication with the host was superb in helping out with getting around the city. Would recommend to everyone. Great breakfast too.

The hotel is full of old world charm and detail and was a fantastic experience; at the same time it was extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and assisted us with several issues we had navigating transportation as well as payment given we are foreigners and could not use american credit cards. We are from warm-weather climates and were a little nervous if the old structure could warm up enough at night (about 20s Fahrenheit which was cold to us!) but they have heaters and AC going and thick warm blankets. Very cozy! Delicious local wanton restaurant just a few steps away on the main street, where we had a fantastic breakfast.
