This hotel is a gem for many, many reasons. If you care about your impact on the environment as a tourist, if you have young kids, if you are a dog lover, if you want a relaxed atmosphere - this is your place. The building has been constructed with attention to detail and a focus on reusing materials, rainwater is collected, local produce is cooked (by the wonderful Fernando) and from the moment you arrive, the warmth and friendliness of Victoria envelopes you. There were two families with young children staying when we were there and it was wonderful to see how relaxed they were as their kids pottered around the garden and petted the hotel dogs. This was a highlight of our 6 week trip in Chile and is highly recommended. Also, the breakfast is great!

Casa Azul is located in the centre of Puerto Varas, only 7 minutes away from the main square, supermarkets, the beach and the Casino. Great host, can help you with loads of tips about the environment. Comfortable rooms, very clean bathrooms as well.

Set in Puerto Varas, Los Lagos region, Hostel Casa Apel is situated a 19-minute walk from El Paseo Pier. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. 프라이빗 룸에 묵었는데, 전형적인 외국 집의 방이라서 좋았습니다. 조용한 분위기라 좋았고, 하루만 묵었지만 나름 좋았다고 생각합니다. 공용공간에서는 와이파이가 잘 터지지만 방에서는 와이파이가 조금 잘 안 터져서 아쉬웠습니다. 근처에 식당들도 몇 개 있고, 2분정도만 걸어가면 호수가 보이는 건 좋았습니다. 센트로도 버스타면 5-10분정도면 갈 수 있습니다.
