There's only 2 beds per room which was amazing - Clean facilities (kitchen and bathroom) - There're restaurants and a grocery store nearby which are great - The location is a bit far from center. When you complete a tour. You will be drop around city centre and have to walk to the hostel around 5-10 min

Set in San Pedro de Atacama, 7.5 km from Piedra del Coyote, Viajes & Vida km0 offers accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi, a shared kitchen, and full-day security. Paula and Carlos are the most lovely hosts! Communication before and during the stay was great, and Paula organised the tours with us (which saved us the hassle of going from agency to agency to get information). Be aware that both the stay and tours organised by her are paid in cash, but there are two ATMs in the center. She made us delicious breakfast adapted to our wishes, when we were not on an excursion. Although in the desert it gets cold during the night, we were warm thanks to seven blankets (and upon request you could get more). Washing machine available for a small extra cost, and we could buy cheap water for our 3-day tour to Uyuni. Perfect location in San Pedro's center, next to the main street Caracoles and everything is very close. So far, this was our favourite accommodation on our South America journey, and we absolutely recommend this place for a stay in San Pedro! Although the bathroom is shared, there are few people using it (the hosts and 3-4 guest rooms) and given the different excursion times we rarely needed to wait. Also, there was always hot water in the shower!

Hostal Copart, a property with a bar, is set in San Pedro de Atacama, 29 km from Termas de Puritama, 200 metres from San Pedro Church, as well as 2.1 km from Pukará de Quitor. Soft beds and stable, fast WiFi A great area in the middle of the hostel where you can hang out and meet other travellers. Breakfast was also good (although you had to choose between coffee/tea or juice)

Hostal Qachi Chentura, a property with a garden, is set in San Pedro de Atacama, 8 km from Piedra del Coyote, 27 km from Termas de Puritama, as well as 1.1 km from San Pedro Church. I just want to point out that the property accepts credit cards.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Hostal Belen offers accommodation with patio, around 8 km from Piedra del Coyote. The staff is amazing. They contacted us via whatsapp in advance to ask about our arrival times and if there was anything that we needed. The hotel was super clean and the breakfast was really nice. Wifi connection was great.

Hostal Tulvak Atacama is set in San Pedro de Atacama, 29 km from Termas de Puritama, 1.1 km from San Pedro Church, and 2.8 km from Pukará de Quitor. Staff was amazingly kind and helpful! And the hostal was spotless. And... there's a dog which only makes it better. Breakfast was really good too.

Boasting a patio with inner courtyard views, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Casa Voyage Hostel can be found in San Pedro de Atacama, close to San Pedro Church and 7.9 km from Piedra del... A lovely setup with lots of friendly staff who will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. A great place to meet people if you are solo travelling as the common areas are very cosy and there are usually organised activities or shared meals each evening. I will never forget my stay here, the owner has done an excellent job in building this place. Oh, and I almost forgot the most gentle and sweet dog living there, called Pale. Would 100% recommend!

I San Pedro de Atacama, 8,1 kilometer fra Piedra del Coyote, ligger La Tribu del Indio, som har en terrasse, gratis privat parkering og en restaurant. Super friendly and caring owner, very nice, friendly atmosphere. Great value for money. Good location. I highly recommend to everyone
