The location and the host were in perfect harmony. The location is 5 min walk from the main square, meaning that you are still close but away from all the noise. In addition, if you want to do your souvenir shopping than the market close to the hostel is much cheaper and more local. The best point of the place was the host Victor, who made us feel so welcome and did everything to make this one of our best holidays!

Comprising a garden and a bar, Hostal Copart is a recently renovated accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama situated close to San Pedro Church. Simple, but clean and confortable enough. Staff is helpful and friendly. Really good location in central San Pedro. Good price.

Hostal Qachi Chentura, a property with a garden, is set in San Pedro de Atacama, 8 km from Piedra del Coyote, 27 km from Termas de Puritama, as well as 1.1 km from San Pedro Church. The host (Rudi) was wonderful. Communication was excellent. We used Whatsapp because my Spanish is not good. The room and rest of the hostal was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, and we liked it was a short walk from the central roads. We are also very grateful that we were able to leave a suitcase behind when we realized our multi day tour to Uyuni would not let us take both suitcases. Highly recommend Hostal Qachi Chentura.

Located in San Pedro de Atacama, 7.7 km from Piedra del Coyote, Hostal Ayni provides accommodation with a garden, free WiFi, a shared kitchen, and private check-in and check-out. Hostal Ayni lived up to expectations. Just what I was hoping for. I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. The room was clean, spacious enough to layout my things, had a very powerful tabletop fan (which can be needed some nights), and had a comfortable bed with a very warm comforter for those cold nights. The location of the hostel is an advantage to others because it is easy walking distance to the center of town, which makes it quiet and peaceful away from the noise but not too far either. There is a big open kitchen for use with all the amenities needed, a fridge, stove, and ample seating inside and outside. There is a lot of seating outside and two hammocks to hang out or have meals. This allowed all the guests to not feel crowded around each other. There’s a tienda very close by (a few metres) that comes in handy if you need something quickly (water, snacks, etc.). The hosts were very accommodating to all requests for the 5 days I stayed there. They even allowed me to stay a little longer than checkout time to align with the pick up time for my shuttle to the airport. The bathrooms are cleaned daily so there was always a welcoming bathroom to use after a full day out. It is not your typical hostel feel but more like living in a home, which is good because it attracts more mature guests and keeps the place quiet. I highly recommend this place.

Boasting a patio with inner courtyard views, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Casa Voyage Hostel can be found in San Pedro de Atacama, close to San Pedro Church and 7.9 km from Piedra del... Each bed has curtain, small lamp and socket. Hot water and hairdryer. The staff were really nice, patiently answering my questions. They also have dinner party everyday and charge only $5,000 CLP, the food and atmosphere looked pretty good.
