Family-run bed and breakfast with a lovely host. Rooms were very authentic and detailed-driven with a personal touch. Breakfast was very good, fresh and with lots of choices. Pool very close by in a beautiful nature setting

We got the room with the kitchen, it was fully equipped and so clean. Hosts were very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, had storage for our stuff and the bed very comfortable. There are 2 beach chairs and beach towels provided by the lovely hosts. The street car is up the street and brings you directly downtown, perfect location for a beach and city TO visit. We loved our stay, wish we would have stayed longer!

Everything... I arrived, and was in my room within 5 minutes! Very fast working staff, who try to exceed your expectations every time at the Royal Oak Inn. This is my ''GO TO'' away from home stay! A+ .... 10/10
They hadn't received my reservation and I had driven through horrendous driving conditions for 5 hours to get there. When I called no one answered their phone and after knocked on the door, they had no recollection of my booking. The room wasn't ready because someone had trashed it during the last stay. I had to wait around with the host and his dog while they cleaned the room. Needless to say, they are not great hosts. They woke me up at 7:00 a.m. and asked me to be out by 10:00 a.m.
Great hostel with an interesting story. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had an amazing time here!
It felt like you were a welcome guest in a private home with the service you get in a hotel.
