The place is located in a distant neighborhood, so you will probably need a car to get to the tourist attractions, but in turn you will have a really nice sleep in a calm peaceful place. There is a kitchen inside the house where you can cook meals for yourself, the shower and air conditioning work perfectly. I absolutely recommend it!

We hired a brilliant English speaking guide and a boat pilot for the week through the lodge (additional to the accommodation costs) and they organised an itinerary to tour the local area and beyond. The food was great and varied (beef/chicken/pork/fish etc), including local fish that we caught in the day. It was amazing to live in the riverside community if only for a week, and we hope to come back in the wet season when the water is higher and the landscape has changed.

The staff was awesome especially Gabriel, Anderson and everyone else. They went the extra mile to accommodate an emergency call we had to make. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Fresh homade with a lot of love! I will be returning in the future!
