Boasting a private beach area and garden, as well as a restaurant, INTI WASI LODGE is situated in Comunidad Yumani. Such a beautiful experience in Isla del Sol!! We arrived at Inti Wasi after a day of travelling and Yanette introduced herself and brought us all a cup of coca tea to our room which just set the tone perfectly. The lodge was a tranquil and gorgeous place and you can really notice the care that the family put into making your time there enjoyable. The breakfast was so good before a day of hiking around the island - eggs served fresh everyday! They have a restaurant too so if you are feeling tired then you can enjoy fresh homemade pasta and pizzas there in the evening! Just an overall 10/10 stay and could definitely have stayed there longer - Isla del Sol has a piece of our hearts thanks to this amazing place and people!!

With garden views, Wara Uta Lodge is situated in Comunidad Yumani and has a restaurant and full-day security. The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was made to order. I had a great view of the lake from my room, and I especially liked it that my room had donkeys next to it. If you arrive from the Sun temple, it’s not bad to get to, but of course, like all properties, coming from the Yumani port, it’s a an uphill adventure against altitude. If you want to go to Las Velas, it’s the perfect location because it is the closest accommodation. Since may be walking through the forest on your way back and need a flashlight, it’s very easy to find your way back. It’s also on the way to one of the lookout points from which it’s about 10 minutes to get there. The path to it continues past Las Velas.

Located in Comunidad Challapampa, Hostal Cultural Bertha Challapampa Isla del Sol parte Norte features a recently renovated accommodation 2.4 km from Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla. The hostel is really nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The terrace had sun until late in the afternoon. It was just a few metres from the beach. The host family is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

With mountain views, Hostal Phaxsi is located in Comunidad Yumani and has a restaurant and full-day security. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The shower was hot, bed was extremely comfortable and it had many blankets to keep you warm, as well as a electric heater in the room if you needed. (it gets cold here at night) the location right at the port means you don’t have to carry your bags up the massive hills, but you still get great views of the lake an mountains. Breakfast was delicious and the owner even ferried us up to the north side of the island so we could hike back one way.

Hostal Tawri is located in Isla del Sol Yumani, 14 km from Inka Bath and 15 km from The Calvary. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. A terrace or patio are featured in certain rooms. Absolutely loved our stay at Hostal Tawri! A beautiful host family, incredible views overlooking the lake, alongside a super lovely room that felt a little luxurious when travelling for a long time and was well equipped. Yummy banana pancakes and coffee for breaky!

Set in Comunidad Yumani in the Isla del Sol Island region, Hostal Utama has a balcony. This guest house features a garden. The bed was super comfy and cozy, amazing views from the bedroom. The family were lovely, very helpful with giving us information on how to take boats to the north of the island and Isla de la Luna
