The shower was a bit weak, but fine for a short stay. Service was excellent— the owner was very accommodating, offering a generous breakfast (50 bolivianos for 2) before our Solar trip. She even contacted the tour agency and provided a hat, which was helpful. They also sell essentials and souvenirs at fair prices. The couple running the place is wonderful, and we’d definitely stay again in Uyuni.

The hostel is clean & very comfortable, lovely breakfast, very kind, humble & obliging family. The tour was organised by the hostel owner exactly as we wanted & when. We returned to Butch Cassidy for a night after the tour (finished in Uyuni but we came back to Tupiza with the driver). It was all perfect. We couldn't have had a better tour driver (Christobal Ribera) or more comfortable vehicle (Toyota Lexus).

The location is very convenient. The rooms are dated but exceptionally clean, comfortable & accommodating with places to put things. There is a desk, 2 chairs, a wardrobe with hanging space, shelves and drawers; there are little shelves above the sink and in the shower, trash cans in both the bathroom and sleeping area. The breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate with a variety of bread, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, juice, scrambled eggs, coffee… José and Yamíl were excellent hosts, friendly, professional and attentive.
