The location was great and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Schauane was an exceptional host and we can't thank her enough for all the help on our trip!

We stayed in the wonderful Alsigal Cochabamba before and after our trip to Toro Toro. Our hostel hosts, Alfredo and Erika, were excellent. When we arrived Alfredo took out a map and gave us an overview of the city. Each morning they left tea, yoghurt and breakfast biscuits outside our room for us to enjoy. They helped to organise taxis and confirmed they were a fair price with the driver before we left. They looked after our bags when we went to Toro Toro, gave us advice on what to bring to Toro Toro and just generally made both our stays an absolute pleasure. The hostel rooms are comfortable, the showers are lovely and the general ambience of the hostel is tranquil and pleasant. The location is good and there are plenty of restaraunts within walking distance.

There's a fully equipped kitchen with appliances like a fridge, microwave, and blender. Additionally, there's a washing machine available. José, the host, is always accessible for any inquiries. He is highly socially engaged and provides excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. José even introduced me to some of his friends, which I greatly appreciated. He is always ready to assist without hesitation, whatever your question or problem might be. It's an excellent spot for nomads looking to stay and work for a while. The desk offers a beautiful view for work, and wifi is accessible throughout the casita. Although located 2km from the center, it's situated in a lovely, quiet, and safe area. I feel completely safe walking in the streets, even at 10 pm. The Trufi is very easy accessible and very safe, even after dark. It takes you everywhere in the city! The surrounding parks are delightful for strolls and relaxation. There's even a park right in front of the casita. The best place I've been within the last year of my travels/nomad life in South America. Long-term travelers need, at some point, a place to let their minds and bodies rest, and this is the place! Originally, I hadn't planned to visit Cochabamba, and then I intended to stay for just one night. However, one month later, I'm still here, all thanks to the hospitality and professionalism of José, and the wonderful vibes of both the place and the city itself. I could go on endlessly about how delightful the place is, but you really have to experience it for yourself. Come and check it out! Thank you José!
