We liked everything. From the begining, the communication from Kem and the welcoming of her husband Andrew was amazing. The location, the breakfast, the environment, the facilities, and everything was completely awesome. We strongly recommend this place to stay in Brunei!! 20 out of 10 :-)

Coconut Bay Lodge - Beribi is situated in Bandar Seri Begawan, 5.9 km from Istana Nurul Iman, 6.4 km from Hua Ho Department Store, and 7.1 km from The Mall. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a lift for guests. I was there only for one day transit. Just like any other visitors, we were excited to explore the city. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any public transportation due to fasting month. The hotel owner kindly took us for a quick sight seeing around the city so we can experience Brunei at glance! Such a great hospitality that exceeds my expectation! Wonderful!

At the homestay, all units come with a desk. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a bidet and slippers, the units at the homestay have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms are fitted with a terrace. At the homestay, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Very spacious and super clean room. Owner is the friendliest, even during the national holiday he was available whenever we needed him.

i highly recommend this place! i liked everything but on top of these things, yani is my favorite and such a nice person who always welcome you with a kind heart. yani’s home cooked breakfast was delicious also ;)
some reviews say there isn’t much to do in the area, which is true, but it always feels relaxing to get out of the city noise and be surrounded by nature. there’s a beautiful beach nearby and well-maintained park right next to it. i enjoyed riding a bike to there which yani rented me.
also, the indonesian restaurant across the street provides you really good meals for affordable price. i went there for dinner and lunch.
if you are staying in brunei for more than 3 days, don’t waste your time spending all your time in BSB. i recommend you to stay at this place for at least one night ;)

Nice, clean little home stay, with a lovely Indonesian lady running it(for another owner). Mainly occupied by people attending the dive centre. Kids love the cats. Light breakfast served at your prefferred time every day(try the Roti, its really good). A few local restaurants with great food nearby, and a small marked with all you need close. They can arrange tours and trips for you if you dont like to explore for yourself.
Very decent hotel with big, clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is served in the upstairs cafeteria which locals also frequent. Many local dishes available. The hotel is located about a 30-minute walk away from the city centre and a 10-minute drive away from the airport. There is a grocery store next door and plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood.
Great homestay room, near minimart and eatery , clean sheets, great wifi, hot showers, beach is a bicycle ride away!
The location is a bit far from the city centre, but if you're looking for peaceful surroundings this is a great place. Poni Homestay provides bikes if you want to explore the area or ride to the beach.
Excellent location, close to airport, big clean rooms with immaculate linens and towels. Hotel Staff are extremely friendly and very hospitable. Had breakfast at the hotel which was exceptional with locals delicious served every day. Would happily stay there again.
Breakfast was great for locals, but need to cater more Western food for Western ppl.
Yani the homestay manager was very friendly and helpful. She made large and delicious breakfasts every morning. The homestay is near the village restaurants. We enjoyed kayaking and the sunset on the beach. The homestay provided free use of the kayaks and bikes. Airport shuttle was also a free service.
