We booked the Maloca, which is a wonderful tent, it's glamping in a friendly and relaxed environment. The tent reconnected us to the nature! But without leaving all the facilities like our own private bathroom! Delicious breakfast every morning making with love… Can you ask for anything else? Giorgio and his family are the best hosts we've ever had! And of course, close to the beach, restaurants and pretty places!

Even though we had the language barrier they tried everything to make our stay awesome

With mountain views, this accommodation provides a swimming pool. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The room was absolutely beautiful as was the property. Lots of thoughtful details, like a bug swatter lol. The bed was big and comfortable, and there was an automatic shade so you could make it dark in the room. The coffee maker was really nice. We had a problem with the hot water but that's because we turned the handle the wrong way, and nevertheless the manager came over on a sunday night to help fix it. The restaurant is closed on sunday (we didn't know this) so we didn't get to try it, but the following day after breakfast (which was delicious-- fruit was so sweet and perfect) we treated ourselves to some of the amazing cocktails and they did not disappoint.

Offering quiet street views, casa maria is an accommodation set in La Romana, 8.1 km from Teeth of the Dog and 12 km from Dye Fore. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)
