Lukas the host was so kind and the property was gorgeous. We loved the fully stocked kitchen(with an espresso machine for the morning!) the sauna(included in the price 😎) and the friendly cats. The beds were super comfortable. Our only regret is that we only stayed for one night. 100% recommended. Thanks Lukas!

We rented two rooms for our family of four, both of which were excellent. The bedrooms were well furnished and stylish, with a very traditional style. Both rooms had great balconies, with inspiring vies across the piste and mountains. Breakfast was very impressive. Great variety of cuisine, beautifully presented. Breakfast rolls and such super fresh. The staff were superb and always helpful.

The little village was very charming and even had a waterfall within walking distance. The owners were very welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast was fantastic. My husband and I will definitely be back!! Loved everything about it.

We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect
