Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Dave was a great host and the place was perfect for a short work stay during some cold weather that required cosy comfort. We had a great dinner on the Sunday evening and watched some World Cup which was also nice.
Dave was such a lovely host and a larkian to talk to. He knows what a customer would like for breakfast and even goes to futher mile to make everything wonderful.
The cottage is lovely, a small home away from home, with an old, comfy feel to it, almost nostalgic. Beautiful gardens around. John is a great host, very welcoming and friendly. Great place to relax in the gardens or explore Matopos and Bulawayo, located about 4km out of town center.
