9 Windsor House, hotel in Tokai

9 Windsor House in Tokai provides adults-only accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

Absolutely loved our stay at Windsor House. Tracey and Mark are fabulous hosts, very attentive and accommodating, you will feel "at home" with them. The room was stunning with ample space, the bed was firm and comfortable, we had the perfect sleep. The bathroom was large with a shower, and 'his and hers' basins. The kitchenette and Lounge area is an open plan loft space opening onto a balcony. The pool is beautiful and clean with an entertainment area. It is so peaceful at Windsor House.

Morningside Cottage, hotel in Tokai

Morningside Cottage is a family-run guest house in the Tokai district of Cape Town, 7 km from Muizenberg Beach. It has an outdoor pool and is situated within tranquil gardens.

Frances allowed me to enter the premises around 4am, after I made the drive from Port Elizabeth. She looked after me and accommodated me during a very stressful time. She allowed me to sleep a few extra hours before making the trip back the next day. Great breakfast. Clean room, everything was great. Just pointing out the immense kindness from Frances. Thank you!

St James Guest Houses, hotel in Kalk Bay

Facing the seafront, St James Guest Houses is a guest house featuring a 5-star accommodation in Kalk Bay. It has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private parking.

What a superb stay. We basically had the run of the place due to a slight quirk in bookings for that week. The room was amazing and the staff were brilliant. The facilities in the hotel were very good and it is a sumptuous and comfortable experience. Pool area was quiet and private. Plenty of rooms for guests, even if full, I think only 6 rooms!

Villa Lion View Private Luxury Retreat, hotel in Cape Town

Situated 8.4 km from World of Birds, Villa Lion View Private Luxury Retreat is a recently renovated 5-star accommodation in Cape Town, boasting pool with a view, a garden and private parking.

We have stayed in several establishments in the Constantia area and I can honestly say this was the best so far. Although relatively expensive for us South Africans, you certainly get what you pay for! The staff were exceptional - very friendly and really made us feel special - they are a true asset to the Villa. The included breakfasts were really good too. They have a fully equipped and airconditioned gym with the latest Technogym equipment, which helped us work off a little of the breakfast each day. The two lounge chill areas with honesty bars added to the ambience of the place. The Villa is perfectly located in my opinion - off the main roads, but access to the local wineries, restaurants and shopping centres was great (we had our own hired car). We will definitely be back!

Villa Coloniale Schumacher Luxury Retreat, hotel in Cape Town

Located in the heart of the Constantia Valley, Villa Coloniale is a 5-star guest house just 6 km from Groot Constantia Wine Estate. It features a salt-water swimming pool and lush garden.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of Jo and Fabian set the tone for a truly exceptional stay. Despite it being the busy Christmas season, they greeted us warmly and accommodated our early check-in with ease. They thoughtfully stored our luggage and showed us all the areas where we could relax before our room was ready, making us feel immediately at ease. We enjoyed unwinding by the beautifully maintained pool, and it wasn’t long before we were informed that our room was ready. Fabian’s recommendations for local dining and walking spots were spot on and added a personal touch to our experience. Our room was a haven of comfort and style, complete with luxurious, fluffy cushions and a Nespresso-style coffee machine—a perfect detail for a coffee lover like me. The local biscuits and the high-end toiletries in the bathroom were delightful touches. We especially loved the private patio, which came with relaxing chairs and a table, ideal for al fresco dining or just soaking in the serene surroundings. The main house offered cozy reading spots and a fantastic honesty bar by the pool—a lovely addition that made us feel even more at home. During our stay, the Schumacher family was celebrating the holiday season, and their warmth and friendliness truly enhanced our experience. They went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome while still respecting our privacy, making us feel like part of their festive celebrations without intruding. The pool was a standout feature—pristine, inviting, and clearly well cared for. Even the gardeners contributed to the wonderful atmosphere, working quietly and kindly checking if we needed anything during our stay. Every aspect of our stay was meticulously curated to create a feeling of relaxed luxury, making it hard to say goodbye. It was such a memorable experience that we’re already planning our return visit next year. If you’re looking for a place that blends warmth, comfort, and a touch of indulgence, this is it.

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The house has really every equipment you might need. We felt absolutely comfortable there and our kids loved the garden and the ability to roam outside. Rachael and David were great hosts. Very helpful and friendly. David even took us out on False Bay with his boat, so we were able to experience Cape Point on the water as well. He let our son use his fishing equipment and my brother was even able to take a dive out at Cape Point. Thanks a lot again for a great week in Tokai!!
