In a country that is full of wonderful guesthouses, 8 Palms stands a cut above the rest. Why stay in a faceless hotel when you can stay in a beautifully appointed room full of quirky decor and be served with a yummy home-cooked breakfast? I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my stay here: the aforementioned breakfast, the high-speed internet, the solid water pressure in the shower, the kindness of the owner, and the general ambience of the beautiful property. I will happily return here when I am next in the area.

The property location is incredible. It has a beautiful garden and there is a real jungle walk nearby with the small dam at the end of it. You can watch the sunset and look at the birds there.
There is a large swimming pool and that is a bonus on a hot day.

Everything you wish for on a vacation was provided with a smile and engaging conversation by the hosts. From the late check-in to the early check-out and the personal breakfast service were all provided with the same hospitality and friendly support. The rooms are superb and spotlessly clean with a spectacular uninterrupted view over the sub-tropical conservancy and the Indian Ocean. The TV channels and Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. The dogs were just as friendly as their owners, the hosts.

Great host. Friendly staff. Resort was Absolutely clean and tidy. Crisp, clean white linen. Relaxing atmosphere. Exactly like the pictures on the website. Accommodating during load shedding and water shedding. Private beach. Pool area with waterslide was exciting for the kids.
Location is perfect and close to the Wild Sun Coast. Good hosts that go an extra mile to make one feel comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. Parking and facilities are good including swimming pool and braai area
