the breakfast was acceptable, but we are quite particular about food. The location was good.
the bedroom was very new and lacked a bathroom mirror.
the bed was comfortable, we would have liked a top sheet rather than just a duvet.

Bernadette was an incredibly helpful and attentive host. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed including a tea kettle and some complimentary tea and coffee (which is nonetheless available in the shared kitchen). From our terrace we could hear all kinds of animals while our toddler was soundly asleep inside. The restaurants are 5 minutes away or you can cook yourself in the kitchen. It's a shame we could only stay one night!
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
It is, in my view, perfect for a single person even though there were couples and families that stayed over. It's in a beautiful setting, lots of trees and plants, and the dogs that I saw made it even more homely . Had a delicious breakfast dinner menu looks good as well
Loved it, Sue and her husband great hosts going out off there way to make your stay a pleasant one.
Everything was really nice and perfect. Michelle and her husband are so lovely hosts and it was a pleasure to stay with them. The accommodation is great and the breakfast is just fantastic and prepared with love!!

The view! Peaceful. The night sounds and stars. It is so close to the Kruger National Park - Crocodile Bridge gate. Breakfast packs provided makes it convenient to be at the gate when it opens. Great hosts, thank you for your hospitality.
Amazing view with a lot of animals wandering along the river in view.
My camera isn't good, but with 1 panorama photo you could see wildebeest, elephant, hippos and crocs.
Amazing food and great hosts and staff.
1 minute from the gate, so doing a night drive or getting to the gate early is easy.
Everyone is accommodating in making sure you're on time for your kruger activities.
Even my introvert fiance felt welcome and at ease.
We will definitely be back!
