This place is absolutely amazing in every way. Breath taking scenery, the food was unbelievably good and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating. We saw giraffe, zebra, deer and water hog whilst staying at the property too. The whole place is immaculate, rooms were spacious and full of the amenities you require on vacation.

A large house, plenty of room. Lovely gardens and pool with a mountain View. Great beds. The kitchen was really well equipped and functional. Quirky decorations made the house a bit interesting and fun. Really great hosts - helpful and there if you needed them but not intrusive. Seeing the zebras and the wilderbeast was also an added bonus.
I like the fact that there are endless choices of activities and restaurants around the area.
Mostly we loved how peaceful and quite the place is. Tegan is a great host, she deserves all the stars. Red Rock Villa is perfect with all things you need to complete a perfect vacation. It is a perfect place to reconnect with your partner. This is by far the best vacation experience for me.
We loved the clean room. The bed is really comfortable, we enjoyed the outside shower and the seating area. We chose the wildlife estate (not a nature reserve out of town) because we wanted to be close to town to explore Hoedspruit for a day. We had not been to Hoedspruit for 2 years and wow did it change. We also did a nice walk in the estate, where we saw several residents biking and walking with their children and dogs. Martha was a lovely host and we wish her and her partner all the best with their safari business.
This place was a real find. Helen was a lovely host and our triple room had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and fantastic value for money. It is set in an estate full of beautiful birds and wildlife. It's hard to believe that you spot giraffe and zebra minutes from town. Helen recommended eating at the Thursty Giraffe and the food was fantastic.
DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN DO NOT HONOUR THE BOOKING. WE ARRIVED AFTER A 6 HOUR DRIVE WITH 4 YOUNG CHILDREN FROM GAUTENG ONLY TO FIND OUT THIS IS A SCAM - THE “Lodge” IS A PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN A PRIVATE WILDLIFE ESTATE THAT DOES NOT EVEN ALLOW SHORT TERM OR HOLODAY ACCOMMODATION, SECURITY DID NOT ALLOW US TO ENTER. THE HOSTS BLOCKED US ON WHATSAPP AND PHONE AND WE COULD NOT GET HOLD OF THEM AT ALL.

Beautiful Private home away from home with every appliance and information a family need for a great stay in Hoedspruit and the surrounding. 100% Cleanliness, secluded and private outdoor shower. Fantastic garden with outdoor dining, seating, a fire pit, a braai stand, a pool, big trees and a game view. Thank you, we loved it!
