Happy Jackal is the ideal starting point for a tour on the river or to Addo (2 minutes). Suzette is very caring. She recommended a good route through Addo where we saw all the animals except for lions and leopards (Maybe we didn't look hard enough.). There is a supermarket and a small restaurant 4 minutes away. The house is large, with very comfortable beds and well equipped. But we didn't really use the kitchen etc. but enjoyed the delicious breakfast from Suzanne and her staff overlooking the river before we started to Addo.

The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was huge and great value for money. Was a great experience going to their bar one night and meeting lots of interesting locals. If you are planning on visiting the Elephant park this is the perfect place to stay. Its very close to the entrance gate plus there is also a supermarket and restaurants close by.
