Beautiful family welcoming you as if you were home ! They will spend time with you drinking homemade happy water and explain their culture, the house is beautiful, the food is delicious and the lake and villages are wonderful :) definitely would go back ! We biked there and it was a great choice

Ho and his family taking care of you as you would be a part of them. Great food served and I had the pleasure to join the family for dinner. Ho is always there to answer question or giving you a hand. It,s a quiet area and you get a picture of living on a farm. Also to explore the life of a fisherman is a journey for itself on this wonderful lake. Join if you can and enjoy a dinner with Ho and his friends on the boat. I will definetly come back if I,m in the area.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We stayed at Alala Homestay for 2 nights. For the reasonable cost, the stay, the internet and friendly, generous host. We have had preferable meals Tuyen Quang city. One of my favorite breakfast is "bánh cuốn". Travelers should try this in the morning beside some dishes like "Phở" or "Bún". Vietnam cuisine is something that can be described by a chef kiss, I just say :D
Tuyen Quang is a great city to visit, but what really made my experience great was booking at this homestay. The house is really new and modern so money is really worth it. The owner and the staffs are well trained and professional they will help you whatever you need. The owner speaks English as well so it’s easy for a foreigner to stay in. It is also a convenient place because it is near the market shopping centre restaurant and so on.
Facilities were perfect for a weary traveller needing to refresh. The staff was good and helped me book a homestay in rural Vietnam by phoning them for me. No complaints!
