Lovely welcoming place to stay and a great location - only 2 or 3 mins walk into the centre of town but at the end of a quiet, side street that backs onto the river so away from the noisy main streets. We arrived in the morning after an overnight train and were feeling very tired and disorientated! But the staff couldn't do enough for us, we were welcomed with a freshly squeezed passion fruit juice and after a short wait, an early check-in. A really lovely family who make you feel at home and freshly prepare amazing breakfasts (banana pancakes are delicious!) They arranged a trip to Bach Ma national park for us without any hassle or need to contact the company, and did our washing for us for a very reasonable charge.

I arrived and was immediately invited.to.a homecooked.dinner for all guests! How incredibly nice! And it was delicious, too! The room was spacious, incredibly quiet and comfortable. I got a bad headcold the next day so could not even visit the Imperial Palace... But got offered a home made soup (which I wanted to insist paying for but was not allowed, which again is so much above and beyond). Also could arrange a late checkout for the same reason at late notice. Thank you sooo much, I will be back!
