Place was central and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and staff, although communication was difficult, were gracious and accommodating.
We loved the little restaurant across the road on a corner as they were so accommodating and kind.

Lovely family run Homestay with very humble owners.
Our room was big, comfortable, everything worked and whilst possibly considered more 'basic' was perfect for myself and my daughter.
Hot water shower, super clean bedroom and bathroom, good lighting, useful TV with decent channels for the evenings, air con AMAZING and a very good fan also.
Lots of towels.
I LOVE the VN mattresses, super firm and a great nights sleep. The pillows were OK but we are very fussy about pillows.
Wif worked well.
Also worth mentioning is that this homestay is very very well designed. There are no external windws in the rooms and the rooms come off a dark cool corridor (also with no windows) - at our visit Dong Hoi waa ridicualously hot and humid; going back to the homestay was excellent and cool, the room wasnt too hot at all :-)
Highly recommedn this place, we stayed for longer and will certainly have good memeories form here and return if we come back to Dong Hoi for a third time. Thankyou.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Super close to the station, really clean and comfy. Shower was amazing! Close by to some nice cafes that we could rent bikes from/book tours to Phong Nha. Got our laundry done on site too! Refreshed towels and water everyday. Friendly host family :)
Really lovely hosts. Ju House is very modern and clean with great wifi. Easy, pleasant walk through the streets to get to town; slightly longer walk to beach.
Really nice homestay run by a lovely couple. Balcony room was spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were great - they offered us fruit, helped us secure a mini fan when we couldn't find one in town and were very responsive to texts.

The building is so well looked after, and the room was spacious and clean and nicely decorated.
The location is good - a quiet neighbourhood close to the waterfront and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.

We liked everything during our stay at the dolphin homestay. The location is great, the rooms clean and comfortable. The host family is super likeable and friendly. We felt very welcomed. If we come back, then definitely to this homestay.
Hoai was the most lovely host, firstly we had to check in at 3am after catching a sleeper bus and she was there to let us in and greet us. She also noticed it was nearly my birthday on my passport so surprised me with a birthday cake! So thoughtful and lovely. Hoai also organised our day trip to the caves where we had a wonderful day, thank you so much, we would really recommend Dolphin Home!
What a beautiful homestay, right across from the river. You can walk along the river front for ages. The gardens are beautiful. Close to everything. Rooms are very comfortable. The terrace on level 2 is omg! Breathtaking, you can see the water and this amazing dolphin fountain. The family here is beautiful and very helpful, highly recommended. My lovely host, took me out for real Vietnamese food . And watched cook one dish! An absolute must stay here. Beautiful city. Beautiful homestay.
