Jang was very welcoming and helpful, which made the long-winded route getting there worth while. We only had one night there on route to Can Tho and didn't realize the main bus station was a long way out of town, which requires a transit vehicle to the boat ferry then a ferry across to the island. Jang and his wife kindly picked us up on motorbikes when we arrived. Despite the journey there, we're pleased for the experience of life on the murky mekong! We stayed inside their home upstairs as the garden room wasn't available. Very basic but adequate and clean. Jang gave us pushbikes to use which was a great way to see the small island and to cross back over to the mainland to get cash for the homestay payment. We shared a delicious meal that evening for 250, 000 dong and nice breakfast before our departure. Jang made sure we connected again with the transit vehicle the next morning. Overall a memorable experience!

Nice space, good sized room, good shower. The owner Tuk, was very helpful and friendly she helped us sort lots of trips and transport. Nice and quiet at night. Bikes available free of charge (but roads can be busy!). Definitely worth booking the trip on the Mekong through Tuk because this was excellent.

Great room for that cheap price! Also very polite and helpful host. Nice location. You can easily reach the ocean, the Mekong or cities like Cho Gao, My Tho and Ben Tre from there. Street food only few metres away.

Wonderful friendly family run home stay, great peaceful location by the river. Lovely home cooked local food served on private terrace outside room, always served with the biggest smile.
Boat tour was great value,fun & informative trip. We learned alot about Vietnamese history &life from talking with the owner.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Very lovely stay, the host is extremely welcoming and friendly, a coconut served every day from his trees in his garden was a nice treat and surprise, served me some nice vegetarian food and also recommended a great restaurant just over the river, booked my trip over to the islands and took me over the ferry for my return bus at the end of my stay. I would definitely recommend this homestay
I highly recommend it. The place is located on an interesting island to visit and it is easy to access to it with the ferry going back and forth every 5 min. We have spent a wonderful time at this homestay ; the owner is the kindest host you will ever meet. The room is clean and well furnished. You can borrow bikes for free if you need them.
