Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Bobby and Mike were lovely hosts who made us feel right at home. Our room was very comfortable & tidy and we were free to make use of the kitchen. We had lots of fun petting the animals in the little petting zoo next to the house (there are even some exotic animals like emus!). Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back soon again!
Lovely welcoming host in a family home setting. Excellent pool and scenic views. Various smallholder animals to enjoy & interact with. Breakfast made to order, whilst interacting with host family and other guests was enjoyable
Good place to stay for the night on the way to Kings Canyon and Sequoia Park. Very good hosts. The hostess prepared a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We had a nice chat at the big breakfast table. She explained to us exactly where to go and what to see in Kings Canyon and Sequoia Park. I highly recommend staying at this ranch.
