Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.

The main house is under construction which they have that “disclaimer” in the description. There was not a safe way to access the garage apartment due to the construction debris that was strewn around the property. No parking due to a port-a-potty and trailer blocking the only space available.
Nice place with hotel on beach and, across the street , motel type accommodation. We stayed across from the beach in spacious clean rooms with kitchen, microwave, stove etc. Seems the restaurant is not open but got a coupon for a couple of sister restaurants just down the street. We walked to a local bar right next door and had a nice time with locals. Would definitely stay again and recommend if you are in the area.
I think the Host family was phenomenal! They were so kind and welcoming and helped with anything we needed. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean and exceeded expectations. I would stay here 10/10 times!
