Front of the hostel is a E-Bike shop, I like that in LA, you can be anything you want to be. Front as a e-bike shop, operate as a hostel with 12 rooms out of a 2 bedroom house and 12 square feet of backyard. Nothing a wide angle camera can't overcome tho. I also like that they use the Venice sign as if it was anywhere near the place. Imagine all hotels in Hollywood using the sign as their main property picture.

The owners were so nice and welcoming! Their place felt very calming and homely. The owner, Shay, burnt wood incense in the morning which reminded me of home (Sydney), ironically. She's also a wonderful storyteller and business woman, and our conversations inspired me.
I loved the interior and exterior of the airbnb, everything felt intentional and nice. If you are one to love design and comfort, and also a place that's right next to hollywood, here is the place to go!!
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We had a wonderful stay at Lisette’s place. She is a great host who helped us around and made sure we had a great experience. The location is perfect, a lovely quiet place, near by PCH. Her dog Whiskey is a lovely boy who likes to show off his tricks for treats. :) The rooms are beautiful and equipped with all necessities. Parking is easy and safe on the streets or at the front doors.
I highly recommend staying at Lisette’s! We’ll return for sure! :)
