Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great hosts (one shown in photos) who were full of char lovely big room, hosts had great knowledge of area and full of recommendations. Very close to JT visitor centre and park. Nice parking availability along with WiFi
We had a comfortable nice room with a private bath. We enjoyed the facilities especially the highly equipped kitchen and the laundry. Everything you would expect from a homestay and more.
Very rare sauna in a home stay is a nice touch after using the other pools. All areas are nice and high quality. Plenty of cutlery and comfortable beds. Plenty of private outdoor space.

The location was fantastic and I felt very welcomed on arrival. I will be staying again next time I’m in JT. Thanks for all the suggestions! Also it’s only a 60 second walk to Joshua Tree Saloon, which serves decent food, it had a really nice mix of locals and people visiting from out of town. Thanks again!
Great place to stay, all you need is in the house.
Fully equipped kitchen, amazing garden, you can do bbq as well as fine to chill around.
Heated hot tub with open sky to the stars.
Saloon walking distance (best burgers and cocktails).
Frank is a great host, helpful and cool guy.
