The home was super comfortable, spotless and had many updates to make our stay great! It's obvious the owners take a lot of pride in providing guests a memorable experience. We liked the central location, as it was easy to get to restaurants, stores and sights in downtown and the surrounding areas. The driveway below street level wasn't a problem for us, as we had read about it in other reviews. Parking on street was easy too. We were just totally surprised how fresh, clean, new and homey the house felt, and we would have loved to have stayed longer! When back in Hilo, we'll definitely stay here.

I enjoyed my stay at the Inn. There was a minor mix up with my room, but I called the numbers provided at check in, and it was fixed within minutes. Staff were extremely friendly and apologetic. The Inn is very clean, quiet and I had a very pleasant stay.

We were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and cozy the house was. Dianna was a great host and surprised us and made a delicious banana oatmeal breakfast for 2 of our 4 night stay. Great hostel in Hilo. Location is perfect, within walking distance from supermarket, restaurants and the beach. There is parking space available at the back of the hostel for the rental car. Only a 10 minute drive from the airport. Friendly staff. Nice common room. Clean bathroom. There is free coffee available in the hostel, but I strongly recommend to also have a coffee from the place across the street! Hilo is a great place to travel from to explore the rest of the island.
Jean made sure there is everything you need available in the kitchen and the bathroom and there was a welcome basket waiting for us containing a great starter package which was of great use! Loved all the details in the decoration of both the cottage and the garden, it is obvious that everything is very well tought trough. Great base to explore the surroundings, in general - a lovely place with a lovely host and we very much enjoyed our stay!
Lovely hostel. Very secure, rooms got separate door codes, lockboxes to store stuff much appreciated. Communual kitchen & area got all kinds of small utensils you might need, from cooking utensils to shared food (spices, noodles, shares from other guests) and useful things like sunscreen. Plenty of informative brochures about the area laid out, located right in the city, with only short walks to grocery store, park, beach or bustling inner city. AC kept all areas nice cool.
