Dee - the host - is exceptional. She’s really the reason we also extended our stay there.
Overall, the place is very relaxing, well maintained and has a very welcoming vibe.
The staff working there is friendly, the food was great. We tried two different rooms and both of them were cozy and comfortable.
Dee also helped us organize our pick up and later our transfer to Arusha, which was really appreciated.

We had the most exceptional stay at Lion King Homestay. From the moment we arrived we felt more like friends & family rather than guests.
The guesthouse is in a quiet part of Moshi and (besides the bedrroms) offers a garden, patio, kitchen, and living room. Every detail of the house is very much thought-through, the entire guesthouse is well kept-after and super clean. However, the best part are the owner (who was visiting from Australia when we were there) as well as staff. The service is out of this world (thanks for all the food and drinks provided!!), they always have an open ear and when my friend got sick they even took us to the dentist in the morning and the hospital during the night (just to get up again after 4 hours of sleep....).
The owner is also engaged in several NGO initiatives in Tanzania (Moshi area) and really supports the people living there!

PEOPLE: The family is extremely nice. It was a real pleasure to stay at locals' place and have some cultural exchange.
FOOD: The breakfast was very nice and we also "booked" dinner cooked by Esuvat (for 6$ each) and it was delicious.
PLACE: the apartment has everything you need and the family keeps it perfectly clean. There is a nice and calm terrace in the inner courtyard. Beds are comfortable. The bedroom is on the street side and can be loud, but we were tired and slept like babies.

Ellzy home stay is a lovely accommodation, it has everything you will need in your own place. The owner is a lovely person, she made sure that we were okay and comfortable. There was light all through our stay. The pictures doesn’t do the house justice, it’s a really beautiful house
Karibu Africa Home is a lovely homestay in the outskirts of Moshi. The place is located in a residentail area within walking distance (a bit of a walk, though) from the city center. There a re a few nice restaurant closeby. Our room was huge and pretty cosy. The bathroom was very basic.
The breakfast was one of the best we got in Tanzania. Lovely coffee, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruits etc. In overall, the price-value was excellent.
Dee runs a beautiful homestay. It was a pleasure to stay with her. She was helpful for organising day trips and providing language and culture advice.

We had an excellent stay at MKoani. Dee, our host was very welcoming and helpful at proposing activities and restaurants. The home stay was in a quiet neighbourhood a bit outside the hustle bustle of the town. There are several restaurants at walking distance in the neighbourhood. Special thanks to Muddy who drove us around to visit the waterfall, coffee village and the hot spring. He was very helpful around town as well. We also had our clothes washed for a very cheap price. Oh forgot to mention the yummy vegan breakfast Dee had us prepared.
My wife and I were very comfortable staying at Faraja homestay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook as vegans. We were able to rent a motorbike and travel around the province. Everything was very clean and in working condition.

The place is not far from main road to town it's only 10 minutes. It’s a safe place. This is my second time to this home stay and many more to come. I wil surely recommend this place to all..
