The guest house was really great. The host was very welcoming, nice and helpful - even helped with a question we had by calling someone in Chinese on our behalf. Our room on the top floor was in Japanese style, very cute and spotlessly clean. I loved the design of the bathroom as well. There are some bikes in front of the house which are free to use to go around Yuli. The owners also have a very sweet cat. We only stayed one night but I would have gladly stayed longer. Great hospitality!

The hosts were so friendly and kind we couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming stay. We felt truly spoilt and would love to go back. The breakfast provided every morning was delicious. The whole hotel was super clean and so comfortable. We think it’s one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We were very sad to leave. The hotel is in a lovely area. There’s a nice steak restaurant nearby for dinner.

Our room was clean, comfortable and very spacious for a family of four. Our hosts were friendly and gave helpful ideas on places to visit - we particularly enjoyed the nearby walking/hiking trail. Wonderful hosts and a beautiful setting in the hills. Vicky and her parents all spoke good English and helped us plan our days in Yuli. Also they very kindly invited us to join them for dinner on our first night. We all truly loved our stay at Wisdom Garden HomeStay.
We loved our stay here. Vicky and her parents are lovely people. We got good food recommendations and an even better breakfast each morning. The room was beautiful with big windows so we could see forest everywhere (even in the shower, which was lovely). Boazi the duck and all the lovely dogs made the stay even better. Some people might be put off by the Homestays’ location, please don’t be! You will miss out on one of the best experiences in Taiwan. Taxis are plentiful and are cheap, the host also kindly picked us up when we arrived and dropped us back when we left. This has it all, warmness of the hosts (who are absolutely amazing), the pets (including a duck!), the rooms and facilities, the amazing gardens, fabulous breakfasts, the location and things that you can’t even put a finger on. One very very enjoyable stay, wish we had longer!

Wisdom Garden Homestay is located in the middle of nature within an expensive orchard. The location is calm and relaxing and the house is beautiful and charming. The Japanese-style room is very large and comfortable and can easily accommodate a family.
