This place pleasantly surprised me! I didn't expect too much, since the price is quite affordable, but I was really impressed with this place and would definitely stay again! The room with a balcony is very spacious. The beds are soft and comfy and they even include an extra blanket and pillow in the wardrobe. There is a fridge and waters included daily. The shower has GREAT pressure and gets hot fast-- it's better than my shower at home :) Daily cleaning service is very nice, and the cleaner even spoke a bit of English. The boss was very helpful, showed us the room and explained everything-- we had a misunderstanding due to Booking.com, and the boss just upgraded us to the room with a balcony, which was so nice. I would definitely stay here again. It's quiet, clean, secure, and comfortable!

We had a lovely stay! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with tatami mats and futons - we really liked the japanese style. There is a cafe, souvenir shop and free kimono rental. 3 min walk to the Old Street where you can find some yummy food. Highly recommend!

It was a pleasant surprise to have access to a lift in a homestay as we had a number of heavy luggages. The room was spacious yet cosy. It was very clean and well equipped. Impressed with the numerous choices of TV channels available.
Breakfast was an interesting mix of east meets west. There was not a dull moment with each dish. Vegetables were freshly harvested from home grown hydroponics. Staff took time to explain how the meal was prepared and introduced the local dishes that were incorporated into the breakfast. It was a delightful experience.
