At first, we were quite skeptical because the location was in the middle of a quiet residential area, so we didn’t set any expectations. However, as we arrived, from a distance we saw a woman standing in front of the gate, waving at us. We soon realized that she was Naz, the owner, which was a big plus point.
Upon entering the gate, our first impression was just average—nothing special. But as we stepped into the room where we would be staying, WOW! It was far beyond our expectations. We had an entire house, like a bungalow.
Walking through the bungalow's entrance, there was a corridor about 3 meters long leading directly to a large living room combined with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with cooking and dining utensils. There was a large sofa that could also serve as a bed, which was perfect for our family of three—our child could sleep comfortably there. Behind the sofa was the master bedroom, positioned right next to the corridor leading from the bungalow’s entrance. The bathroom was spacious and equipped with a water heater.
When we arrived, we were starving and asked Naz for three eggs to cook with instant noodles we had bought earlier at the supermarket. Naz kindly gave them to us for free.
In the morning, Naz prepared a delightful breakfast, complete with a traditional Turkish spread and delicious börek made by her mother.
Naz is an incredibly hospitable host who takes great care of the property. Adanos was the best choice we made during our stay in Cappadocia, offering exceptional facilities and truly excellent value for money. If you and your family are on a road trip to explore Göreme and the surrounding areas, Adanos Konukevi is the perfect option—just a short 15-minute drive away.

Clean rooms and good breakfast. Close to main streets. If you don’t wish to use the usual tour packages which are quite expensive, I recommend using ‘cavusin_village_taxi’ look up on insta and customize the places you wish to see. The driver is great person and not commercial. Another option is to rent a car to roam about. Also, exchange to local currency to avoid additional charges.

Kirkit hotel is a wonderful place, created in historic houses with charming furnishings and details. The hosts are extremely welcoming and available to accomodate any request. The location is perfect and it is very pleasant to have good breakfast in the beautiful courtyard while chatting about the attractions of Kappadokia with guests and locals. It is very much appreciated that dringking water was provided daily in the room.
Sana was a great host, available for any question and with a lot of suggestions and information about the area. The room was big, very comfortable and clean and the location is in Avanos city center, where you have everything at hand by foot. Every attraction in Cappadocia is easily reachable. The breakfast was different every day, complete and tasty. Would repeat and recommend it!
Adanos Konuk Evi is a very nice and cosy place. The rooms are big, tidy and very comfortable. There is a small yard in front of every room. The breakfast is excellent. Nazlı is friendly, helpful and such a great host. The perfect place to explore Cappadocia. The old town of Avanos is just 10 min walk. We were second time at Nalzlı's place and will come for sure again.
We loved Sendian Guesthouse and Avanos. It is not in the tourism hustle and bustle but still close and covenient enough to reach. Sana is a great host and gave us heaps of tips to help us have the best time in Cappadocia. Rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious.

A gem of a place and gem of a person in Naz! The room was very spacious and interiors very rustic giving it a very palatial feel. The breakfast was really delicious with ample choices. Would recommend to hire a rental car in Cappadocia as it gets very easy to maneuver. Last but not the least Naz was a great host who treated her guests like family. I would highly recommend Adanos Konuk Evi to everyone who wants to have a feel of local culture by staying in Avanos rather than touristy Göreme.

Amazing property.....I kept extending my stay. For 36 years the owner has been adding artwork and interesting items throughout the property. Everywhere you turned there was something subtle and interesting to see. The location was great. Avanos, unlike Goreme, is city where locals live and play. Well organized with a beautiful river and river walk. Lovely.
