Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We love the convenience and size of this roadside homestay. Easy in and out, yes a bit noisy from the road, but great bed layout, cool night sleep and easy for overnight and back to your journey!
We loved everything about the homestay, the hosts are wonderful and so helpful. Rooms and whole house has a lovely vibe and it a great spot to relax. We rented the bicycles and rode to a beautiful beach in the military zone and it was perfect. Great food recommendations and delicious coffees and smoothies!
The lovely hosts picked us up at a late train from Bangkok and this extremely friendly attitude remained through our whole stay. The room is very comfortable, it is quiet and the cafe in the ground floor provides excellent cafe and food. Going to Ao Manao beach is an easy 15 minute bike ride. A perfect home stay! The owner is absolutely lovely and made us breakfast on arrival, the room is comfortable and very clean, the property has a perfect trendy vibe. The owner is also very accomodating, helping us rent bikes and find good dinner locations.
Nearby seaside, this homestay offers a charming retreat within an beautifully decorated old wooden house. The hosts' warmth and hospitality create a delightful atmosphere, they helped us to rent a bike, told more about Prachuap and were a great company. The authentic charm of the wooden house adds character, offering a unique stay that blends comfort with a touch of history. It is not a hotel, so lower your expectations, some people sadly don’t understand that it’s a homestay, and yes, it’s extremely homely!

Wonderful small and private home stay sin a perfect location surrounded by nature and next to a beautiful lake; yet close to town and beach.
