The staff were welcoming beyond our standards, such a lovely atmosphere and with such a beautiful environment came a very special story behind the place that made our stay memorable. The place was clean, the photos don’t do it justice. The view is impeccable and where there were mosquitoes present due to the location, mosquito repellent was given kindly whenever we stepped foot outside (SO kind and worked wonders). Phi (one of the staff members) described a very moving tale of how the Boathouse originated after the tsunami which was fascinating and captivating as the film photos captured inside told many stories. The long tail boats within the boat house are pieces from the wreckage of Phi Phi’s tsunami debris.
This hotel is more than just very accomodating and welcoming, it has a very intriguing history that makes for a well rounded stay. We loved our time spent at the Sunflower Boathouse and will remember it as such a significant part of our travels. Thank you for providing us with such an amazing stay, we appreciated it so much. A place we will tell our kids to go in many years to come.

Lovely helpful staff. We were met by one of their staff and they took our luggage to the hotel in a trolley and took us through the main area to the hotel by foot (no cars are allowed on the island). Nice room, good size. Shared balcony but you had your own table and chairs. Good laundry service. Out of the main area but nice and quiet. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main area.

Fantastic Guest House, located 10 minutes walk from the main beach. Close to many bars, restaurants, and supermarkets.
The room is very big and clean, the bed is very comfortable, Wifi connection is very good, and the room

It's cheap and far from the noisy street of Phi phi
Its very good hostel. Very clean (the staff clean few times a day), good location (no noise, 10min from the pier), you have complimentary cakes, coffee, tea and banana. Curtains on the beds. And the staff is so so nice. Recommended 100%
The room was nice, however we left the key in the room and the door auto locks. So when we tried knocking on the door of the worker who originally checked us in, they shouted at us and slammed the door in our face. We and 3 locals then spent the best part of an hour trying to break in where eventually I got a random room key and wiggled it about loads and finally got in. That worker that shouted at us and did absolutely nothing to help us needs some serious training on customer service. Do not stay here.
Loved the local atmosphere of the village. Very rustic and yet definitely enough food options.

Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and beach was crystal clear.
2 pools, diving and recreation facility, 3 restaurants with great food and friendly staff.
Also close to a small village behind the resort which is amazing to visit and support the locals.
It's in the absolute centre of of town on a party island, this is a really good hostel because it has air conditioning all day and is quiet so you can sleep, there are parties every where and this place is good to hide away from the noise, also they have lots of events so it's very easy to meet people.
