I liked the proximity to the Mall and the main beaches. Being located in a local neighbourhood gives you a taste of the real islander life. It is nice to have access to cook yourself your own meals.

Kayee and her staff were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful with local knowledge and even helped book our tickets for more travel with local ferries and taxis. The food they made was also delicious and fairly priced. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to friends.

Great value for money, spacious room, clean and comfortable. Very kind and helpful owner. You can rent motorbikes at the hotel for 200 baht per 24h, which is cheap for ko samui. There is a 7eleven 2 min by foot. We came mainly for diving, so the gecko hotel was the perfect option for us.

A clean, spacious and comfortable room. The owner Melanie is a great host and is very helpful with any queries and provided lots of information. The ability to use the spa next door was a nice bonus!
Very unique and quirky. Amazing location right on the beach, not really in the tourist area so nice to be with the locals. Restaurant is right next door to the huts and has essentials. Facilities were clean and had lovely decoration. Would definitely stay again. I miss it already!

Great hostel in centre of Lamai, not far from the beach. Rooms are comfortable and have air con. Common area downstairs is not massively comfortable I will say and if you’re looking for a party hostel this is not for you. Great help from staff in booking tours (with discounts)
Great hosts couple of Franz and Veronica, staff there were super friendly, warm hearted and helpful. It located in an alley, also quite near the beach. The bungalow was clean, quiet and has enough space to settled all my luggage. They also have Swiss restaurant where you could try traditional Swiss dishes. If you don’t know what to eat, just ask staff to help, the food they recommend were very tasty.
Great villa ,great host the pool was clean the seating around the pool was excellent and the sun lounge up stairs has a stunning view . Well recommend to stay here 👍
Amazing place with everything you need especially if you want to have a home feeling (you have kitchen with everything you need, spacious room). I was traveling and working so it was a great bonus to have dedicated coworking space with proper office chairs and wifi! They also have a little cafe with tasty food!

Good hostel. They have big and not shaky beds with curtains. 4 persons in a room with own toilet and shower (not in a common area). They have an open space to chill/work too. Restaurant on first floor.
