The owner was very friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely peaceful environment with gorgeous gardens. Bars and restaurants just a walk away. However to discover more of the island you do need a scooter which is available to hire from the hotel. Rooms are cleaned every three days but if you need clean towels or anything else you just have to ask. Would highly recommend!

Angela is the nicest person! She made sure I ate enough and took me on personal scooter Tour around the island. Showed me the good local restaurants and other stuff. She cooked dinner for me and friends. A wonderful experience!

Great location, gorgeous setting to sit and watch the monkeys and hornbills from the balcony! Bao was very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant across the road. Loved the bungalow and hammock! And some additional company in the form of a super friendly cat if you like cats (she was very polite and ignored people who ignored her, so don’t worry if you don’t!) - a local cat who loves affection and would chill with me on my balcony during downtime, just to complete the perfect experience; say hi for me when you’re there!

We had an amazing stay at Mr. Bao Homestay! The bungalow was lovely, featuring a playful and beautiful interior with a cozy veranda. Behind the property, you’re surrounded by serene woods, which truly immerse you in nature. Despite being close to the street at the front, it’s incredibly quiet, making it the perfect place to relax.
The location is ideal – main shopping and dining spots are just around the corner and easily accessible by foot, scooter, or car. Mr. Bao and his family are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always greeting us with smiles. Breakfasts were simple yet tasty, accompanied by tea and coffee.
Mr. Bao went above and beyond to help us book trips and find the best places to visit, always securing the best prices. His network on the island is impressive, making everything convenient. Scooters can be rented directly on-site and are very well maintained, which made exploring the island a breeze.
The beds were comfortable, and the spacious bathroom added to the overall comfort. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful sunrise. Very nice family run resort. We have returned and stayed there several times nice. Simple, but perfect. The host family are super friendly, the lady even sorted a boat out for us and came to the pier to make sure it arrived on time. When in Thailand in the future for sure we will return to this relaxing island and stay at this lovely resort.
This is a complete gem! Stunning view, lovely wood hut with air-conditioning (you do have to pay more for it, but it is worth it!). We stayed in hut number 2 and it was wonderful! You can see the sunrise from the bed, nice shower, lovely hosts, very nice breakfast.

Nina, the lady who manages the homestay was very kind and helpful! She helped us arrange a private boat tour within a very short notice, and also arranged transport and boat tickets. The room itself is spacious, and has all the things you need.
