Lanta Para Hut has been a highlight of my trip. It’s so nice and relaxing and the host Red went out of his way to make everything easy and comfortable. I ended up booking and extra two nights.

Wonderful hosts that run a cute hotel. She is very helpful and makes everything that you feel at home. Very clean, I have slept so well (beds are harder which I prefer). You can rent a scooter and they have good food for dinner that you should try out!
I had to catch my flight early and he drove me to the airport for less than I would have paid for a taxi.

Our favourite place that we have stayed yet! Pen was a great host, she arranged a transfer for us, gave us great recommendations for food and things to do and helped us to hire a scooter. Our room was amazing, very spacious and perfect for some rainy days stuck inside. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Given it was the end of the season, and many adjacent hotels seemed either closed or very quiet, it was amazing how the Layana stayed fully open and attentive. Excellent, consistent service with so many lovely small details. The room was immaculate, meals were great, the poolside service exceptional (free water kept coming, additional free treats, smiles everywhere), all very professional. We didn't go on any of the available tours or excursions, but the beach is kept tidy by locals and it is lovely.
The staff was amazing and very friendly. They went out of the way to keep the property clean-including the beach area. They were out their daily picking up trash. They had live music one night with free apps and drinks while watching the sunset. While we didn't get a chance to explore the island, it was very mellow compared to other places we had been in Thailand. It had more of a locals feel. Adults only also sealed the deal.We will 100% be staying at the Layana on our next trip to Thailand.
We loved everything about the hotel. The resort is beautiful and tranquil. The team is super friendly and is constantly going the extra mile to make your stay as good as it can get.
We are looking forward to coming back and can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to take rest and enjoy a beach retreat.
Lunch and dinner in the hotel is a little pricy but there are plenty of small little restaurants run by locals within 15mins walking distance.
Great hostel with very kind and helpful staff, and calm atmosphere. Nora is an excellent yoga teacher and does classes that you can try no matter your experience level. Adorable kitty cats roam the property.
this place was amazing, in 6 months of traveling i never felt as welcome as i did here, all the facilities are great, and you will get help with whatever you need. the family is the best. if you’re coming to Koh Lanta and you’re looking for a warm homestay, this is the place to be
Great hostel just 5 minutes away from long Beach and near restaurants, bars and stores. Lovely hosts who were very friendly and helpful. Excellent laundry service. Booked my boat to Koh Mook with them and everything ran smoothly. Huge locker and storage. Privacy curtain in dorm. Cold shower in room but hot showers downstairs. Wonderful hammocks.
