Easy 10/10 review. Had a wonderful stay here with our family with two kids, toddler and baby. Lovely staff, very clean bungalows and well maintained garden. They rent scooters for 250bath per day and it was the best one we rented all holiday, like brand new. Breakfast is very nice with changing options every day. Beach nearby is great with lots of spots in the shade close to the water to watch the little ones. Super enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked longer!

We stayed as a family of four in the pink house with two double beds. Very spacious, clean and nice flowery/ pink touches in the bathroom. Kettle and fridge available. Airconditioning works well, same as their wifi. As previously mentioned about the location, its a bit far from the main beaches and restaurants (20min by scooter), but its just 2 min away from the port when you arrive by ferry where they sell super fresh sea food.

Koh Kooh Bed's has a great location, very close to all the best restaurants. You can easily reach the whole island with a scooter. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom has a lot of space. All in all value for money. You can rent scooter from your host which is convenient. I recommend! :)

Lady at the reception was really helpful and friendly. Easy scooter rent, easy check in, everything worked. I had the cheapest bungalow, and it wasn’t luxury, but everything you need for sleeping & showering. Clean everywhere. I would stay again! After not being thrilled with our hotel, my partner and I were looking for a new place to stay as quickly as we could- on Christmas Day on Koh Kood :/ Not a lot of space on the island at that time, and we feared we'd be out of luck. I booked us a vacant spot at I-Lay House at a steep discount, sight-unseen, and hoped for the best. The lovely owner of the establishment came to pick us up personally and even organized a truck pick-up for us when she saw our luggage.
As luck would have it, we were given the most recently made room, and it was incredible. The room (and bathroom/shower) was spotless and beautifully decorated, 20 paces from the shore.
The beach was clean, with plenty of chairs and shade to share with the few other people around. Wouldn't have minded it being more busy even, as the other guests were by-and-large very friendly and fun to talk to. Staff, particularly the owner, were welcoming and eager to help with anything you needed. Food was delicious and presented beautifully, with the free breakfasts being a highlight. Romantic sunsets with stunning nature surroundings.
Despite thinking we'd like to see what else the island had to offer, we were too enchanted by the food, views, and vibe of the area to stray farther than the beach chairs. It's no exaggeration to say that this place saved our vacation, and we'd be so happy to be able to return someday.

The owners and their team are truly wonderful and heartwarming people - you feel at home quickly. The room with shared bathroom is simple but it has everything you need and you will be out on the island for the whole day anyway.
It’s possible to rent a scooter, get laundry service, get good breakfast and home made cakes, make your own food in the kitchen and borrow snorkeling stuff/beach blanket for free.
Also the staff provides you with great tips and helps with any encounter.
In addition there are two super sweet dogs. :)

Dara Homestay is absolutely lovely, well maintained and clean. It is a place with character and soul which makes it stand out from other places and resorts on the island. Ruben and Som are great hosts. They are kind, attentive and always happy to help with anything you may need.
They have workout and fitness area which we absolutely loved. The cafe is also fantastic and a great place to chill with a coffee and a book. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.
Staff were so welcoming and helpful, Wave F is on the quiet side of the island with lots of locals, food at Wave F was out of this world, the home stay is in the jungle, it’s nice and quiet but everything is on your doorstep.
