Great value for money, spacious room, clean and comfortable. Very kind and helpful owner. You can rent motorbikes at the hotel for 200 baht per 24h, which is cheap for ko samui. There is a 7eleven 2 min by foot. We came mainly for diving, so the gecko hotel was the perfect option for us.

This was pure paradise. Su the host is so kind and we felt at home. We extended our stay to 4 nights instead of 2. It was that great! You can see both the sunrise and sunset right outside your room. Snorkeling out your front door and octopus fishing. Amazing! A fantastic place to take a breather and leave the people behind.

The locations is PHENOMENAL! It’s right on the beach!! The restaurant is also wonderful, great food and very reasonably priced. The hospitality was AMAZING!!! The staff were so sincere and really helped make your stay wonderful. We had an early tour before the restaurant opened but they went out of their way to pack a breakfast for us. They also helped with organizing transport to our next island.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Good size hotel, location was perfect for us as a family, 10mins (slow walk) to the fisherman's village. Beach was lovely and clean. Staff were so professional and friendly. I was very impressed with everything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
We were eating most of the time in the hotel as prices were not much different from outside unless you were eating at the night market or locals stores.

We came to the Riviera as a part of our honeymoon in kho samui. Because we mentioned we`re in a honeymoon they suprised us with a beautiful bed decoration. The stay itself was lovely, the size of the room is good, its styled nicely and the view from the balcony is amazing. Pito was such a lovely host and made sure our stay was amazing.
