Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
This is a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful wooden bungalows set in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Really great hosts. Would definitely recommend the Golden Teak Resort.
Charley was a great host and helped us pick our tours. We had originally only booked for 3 nights but as soon as we got there we felt so at home, we booked an extra 2 nights. He also provided an excellent laundry service.
The location was perfect with many bars and restaurants nearby, with the beach only a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Kamala.
Super nice hosts, amazing cleaning laidy Aisha got the room cleaned and fresh every day. The location is perfect for a cozy and relaxing stay. Beach is so close and it is not overcrowded. You have everything you need just on the corner, recommend to eat at the locals stands on the side of the beach
Good hostel, less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. There were curtains around the bed which is very nice, as well as individual light, plug and locker above the bed. The place was clean, it was a nice stay overall.
