Stayed here whilst on a cycle tour in the region, on advice of a friend who lives in Bangkok and had stayed here previously. I was not disappointed.
Absolutely charming traditional property on the river and run by a couple that clearly take pride in providing hospitality. I loved it here. Having stayed in everything from backpacker places to 5* hotels, this stay will be remembered fondly for a long time.
An excellent evening meal was also provided at a fair price (I gave advance warning I'd need to eat when I booked).
Highly recommended.

The couple running this place were very friendly and helpful. It was only 5 mins walk to the small town. The accommodation i had was a 1 room bungalow in the garden. So peaceful. There is not much to do here other than chill out, walk along the river bank and go to the train market. 10 baht shared minivan. There is supposed to be a floating market here but I did not see it probably the wrong days or it had sunk.

What a wonderful spot for lodging! This charming homestay sits alongside the river and is just a short stroll from the floating market. Although the room was cozy, it offered great comfort. The owner was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Additionally, I had the opportunity to experience the mesmerizing fireflies tour, which was truly unforgettable.
The homestay was so beautiful and welcoming. The outdoor deck is so relaxing and beautiful. The accommodation was also really close to the market. Ban Mae kindly upgraded us and the room was really comfortable.
decent room, a homestay, so not too many amenities, but there is a nice and relaxing common patio by the canal, great place to meet, read or just chill and walking distance to the floating market
Very nice homestay situated in a walking distance from the Amphawa floating market. We liked the green surroundings of the house as well as its large terrace overlooking the channel (we could observe many spicies of birds during our breakfast). Friendly and very helpful owners who took us for free in their own tuk tuk right to our next pick-up point.
The price is very good, the staff (probably the owner) are very helpful and hospitable.
Delicious breakfast! This is a small Homestay that suitable for relaxing on weekends
The place could not get any cleaner! and the staff is super friendly, we've been upgraded to a bigger boat shaped room for the children which was very cool.
Breakfast was good for locals and foreigners
The location is superb. Very near to Amphawa Floating market and there is a 7 Eleven nearby too. This was my second time staying in this homestay (2015 and 2022). We took 3 rooms and the homestay was occupied entirely by the 10 of us. The owner is very friendly and could speak English. She helped us in communicating with the tuk tuk driver and transporter, as the locals mostly could not understand English at all. The place is very clean, homely and comfortable.
My third stay at Baanchompoo - which literally translates to Pink House. This beautiful home stay first housed me and some friends in the family room in 2019. I’ve been back twice in two weeks and booked the Balcony Room. highly recommended if you’re heading to the market for the weekend.
