Casa luis is a fantastic place to stay. During my time in Sao Tome I had my base there.
The room is spacious and gets cleaned every day. Top notch. The daily breakfast is tasty and plenty. Staff is friendly and always smiley.
Luis the owner is super welcoming and friendly. He speaks English , too.
The outside area is a little paradise and it’s well maintained. Pool is super refreshing. Area is quiet and peaceful.
The place is a 8 minute moto taxi ride away from the city and also just like 7-8 minutes away from the airport. It is also safe to walk around even in the night time. Never had any issues as a female solo traveller.

This is good budget accommodation, convenient location for the botanic garden, lake Amelia and Monte cafe. owner, Jose, is trying very hard. Note that he doesn’t speak English, so you need Portuguese, French or Spanish to communicate to him. Huge advantage is large fridge in the bungalow.

Arrived at the International Airport in Sao Tome,the owner was waiting with a sign with my name on it.
On the way to the Guest house I had the pleasure to listen to some Santomean music.
Upon arrival I noticed that there is a beach close by
I was given a room with a magical view.
I enjoyed every moment of my stay .
The owner of the guest house is also a local tour guide so had the opportunity to visit some stunning places on this beautiful Island and also helped me to exchange money, and buy affordable local products.
Happy to recommend other people to visit the Island and stay at Monteiro Paradise Guest House.

Célia is an excellent host, 👌 with attention to detail and never too invasive, making everyone feel at paradise.
The nice balance between the surrounding local community it is her persistent and refined work. And it elevates our experience with the locals.
Breakfast is nice and delicious, and we had dinner cooked by a local woman. It amazed us how delicious and surprising it was.
The location near the sea is memorable and top-notch!
The management of all facilities, cleaning, etc, is well organized.

It’s a lovely property very well suited for families. Tiago and Joana are great hosts and very knowledgeable about São Tomé, they will make sure that your stay is very pleasant. We had a great time there. The breakfast was amazing, the best we had during our stay.
The atmosphere at Omali is very enjoyable, the rooms are clean and excellent breakfast selection, lots of options. The food I had for dinner could have been better, was not my favourite and prices are quite high, locals could never afford a dinner for almost €40 when the minimum wage is €50; therefore Omali is definitely a location only for tourists or locals with money.

luis and his wife are great hosts, the pool is what you crave after a day of exploring the city on foot . a 2km walk to the city is a nice day activity and the airport transfers very useful. stress free!
