An old-school cottage-like B&B, family run business on a hill above Velenje. Clean rooms with a sweet balcony/terrace (shared with the adjacent room though) with a cozy backyard view.
Breakfast is sufficient, the owner will offer you egg variations.
There is, obviously, a charging station for the electric car but was under repair/maintenance during my stay so did not (have to) use it. The owner also offered the possibility to plug the car into the normal household socket.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Peter is a great host! He is very friendly, helpful, has a relaxing attitude and even prepared an extended breakfast for us!
The spa area certainly is a plus which is not common at all. The view is great as well!
