Very clean place, nice bed, aircon, nice bedsheets. Everything to have a comfortable sleep. Perfect location in the center of Vila Real, yet quiet at night. Plenty of restaurants around and the supermarket is just around the corner. 2 minutes to the river and the nice walk along. The staff was exceptional and made the best to give me the support I needed. Two places to sit outside: a small inner terrace and a bigger space just at the entrance, which give the possibility to sit outside both in the morning and afternoon and avoid the heat. I truly recommend. I would chose the same place if I go back to Vila Real.

Villa Marquez is a very nice hotel located just 5 minutes walk from the marina and the ferry to Spain. The staff is very friendly and will happily help you with everything you need. My room was spacious with sideboards for your clothes and a comfortable bed. On the top floor there is a little bar-like kitchen with a kettle and a microwave as well as fridges to store your food. There are tables to sit down both inside and outside at the terrace. I enjoyed my stay at Villa Marquez and will stay here again next time I'm in town.

Beautiful city- good location. This place was referred by a young friend. It was clean, great location. It was three plus floors up - no lift. I had heavy bags.

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.

Location was very convenient for us even without a car. Situated between Vila Real town and river and Monte Gordo beach. Both nice comfortable walks. Also right on the main bus route. Would visit again.
