Very lovely place. Its quiet and the views over Funchal are beautiful. The towels and linen were neat and clean. Its a detached room with very optimized use of space. There is even a micro and fridge with ample utencils. Coffee and cakes are also provided in the room, that's a very nice touch.

Gorgeous location, great for catching sunset, right across the road from the porto moniz natural pools. Within walking distance of lots of nice restaurants (lapa bay round the corner had great options!). Staff were friendly. Bedroom itself was a little dated and lacked some amenities but the bathroom was nice. Fairly basic accomodation but did what we needed it to do.

The location, forest, Encumeada, road, views, people, locals and visitors, all felt so calming, relaxed, like floating above the buzz at the coast. The private waterfall was spectacular, compared to the crowded public locations. We were looking for a secluded cottage in the woods and this place was a perfect fit.
