Cecilia is a great host, communicated proactively, welcomed us and made us feel very at home. The standalone cottage on quinta Casa do Poco is very comfortable and surrounded by fields of grape vines. We enjoyed a vineyard tour with Cecilia and saw some of their grape pressing process in action. Then tasted some of their great wines accompanied by snacks made with some of Cecilia's tomatoes, figs, olive oil and jam.

The drive through the valley to Quinta da Estrada was gorgeous. When we arrived, the owner was kind, friendly, and offered suggestions on how to spend our time. There are dogs they live on the property who greeted us just like our own dogs at home. My favorite part of the experience was the wine tasting and dinner provided at the farm. The owner shared about the culture of wine making in the Douro Valley and about his experience as a 7th generation owner. Highly recommend!

Great host, beautiful views, very nice house a few minutes from the city center, the house has a very spacious kitchen, there's plenty of plates, silverware, pans and pots and the host even left a baskets with snacks for us, there's a nice seating area with a Smart TV and the bathroom has a big shower with good water pressure, the beds are comfortable too. The house was very peaceful day and night and also has a private parking which was nice to have.

Fabulous location. Stunning views over the vineyards on both sides of the valley. We stayed in a bungalow which was near perfect in every respect. Spacious and beautifully furnished. Our lovely hostess gave us some restaurant and tourist recommendations which were all excellent .

Such a wonderful location. The view is amazing. Also, Margarida is a very lovely host, she made us feel really welcome. We also really liked the tour from Luis through their vineyard. Will definitely stay here again if we return to the Douro Valley.
We had a lovely stay here and we're well looked after. The accommodation was just as advertised, comfortable bed, fridge in the room, excellent breakage and a very nice group of staff who even made us a packed breakfast for an early start.
A little out of town but great location to meet the locals. Highly recommend.
