Absolutly stunning. Classy place, but not official. Rural, but still elegant. Friendly and super, super clean and comfortable. The silence of the area, birds singing, friendly sheep and beautiful old garden and the small river! The breakfast was top. We are definately coming back!

When we arrived, the host placed us in Casa da Urze 3 as it was just me and my girlfriend and we did not need the extra bed that Casa da Urze 2 had. We were both still very happy with this! The house was incredibly cute and cosy - had a view over the mountains, a lovely fireplace that we lit every night (and which warmed up the house wonderfully and we had a fresh bucket of logs and pine cones to use every evening), we had a TV where we could pair up with my laptop and watch films, the bathroom was pretty and absolutely clean as well, the kitchen had everything we needed, the breakfast that was included was small but filling enough (and we could always ask for an extra bit of bread & etc), the lunch food cooked by the host was delicious, the hosts themselves were very nice and caring and always available, and to finish off, Talasnal is an absolute picturesque gem of a place to come spend a few days in, hiking around through the beautiful natural routes nearby and disconnecting from the busy routine we all feel overwhelmed by from time to time! I will absolutely love to come here again, thank you so much to Casa da Urze and its hosts for this wonderful experience, it was a pleasure!

We were able to check in early, which was a great start. The place was spacious, and we had access to a shared kitchen, which was very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. A delightful bonus was being able to pick fresh lemons from the garden. The location was also ideal, as it was close to the university, our main sightseeing destination. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and added so much to our trip.

Maria was a lovely host and greeted us with homemade cake and drinks. Breakfast was delicious: cake, homemade jams, bread, coffee, juice, fresh fruits, eggs, cheese and ham. Beautiful property. We didn't realise there was no fridge in the room, but Maria was kind to lend us a bit of space in her fridge.

I love the building based on what seems like original Schist building designs with stone and small windows. This one is superbly set up with everything one could need, comfortable with pleasant furnishings and a full equipped kitchen. Pedro, the owner, whom I never met, constantly checked on me and anything I needed. His warm welcome, information and immense generosity went beyond the average home stay. And the quiet in the village and silence of the environment was too wonderful!
