What a beautiful place! It is very well kept or perhaps newly renovated. White marble and stylish Christmas decorations in the hallways. It is clear that they try their best to make it look neat. It appears very clean as well.
I appreciated the fridge, the porcelain for 2, the black out curtains, the small balcony, and the lift.
A relatively big bathroom with good water pressure in the shower, plenty of hot water, and well-functioning drains. And very clean!
Nice staff, too.

Quiet, minimal, good en-suite facilities. It was all dealt with and paid for online, so we didn’t interact with anyone. Access to the hotel and room was by code!

The location, centrally located with easy access to central town but quiet enough not to be disturbed at night. The lovely rooftop which has the possibility of having bbq in Summer. All fabulous facilities, to cook, wash and dry clothes etc.

Lovely spacious clean apartment. Comfy bed, Good shower, Very close to everything. Nice swimming pool area. Communal pool table, sofas, complementary cakes, biscuits and you can have a free coffee from the machine before 10am in the morning. Will definitely stay again if wanting to stay in Funchal. We has room 1b which overlooked the small road and u can hear the cars in the morning but it is quiet at night.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great hosts, especially Antonio who gave us good advice on local places to visit, as well as a bus time table. The property was great - modern, with nice views of the sea and planes landing. Most of all, the hosts provided us with free eggs from their chickens, locally made fresh bread and tomatoes as well as other interesting fruits [such as the pepino, photo below] and even extras from dishes they had personally made.
Sandra&Slobodan are great hosts. They are very kind and helpful. We got lots of tips and recomendations from them.
Room is very comfortable with nice balcony and big bathroom.

The building is beautiful with a nice garden and swimming pool and a common living room with a historic vibe :) It's located in a nice village with a bakery, small store with everything you need, a restaurant and a bar. The room was very clean and smelled great! We slept very well :)
This place is just amazing, beautiful views and lovely hosts - Antonio and Jorge - always kind and helpful. Well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom and room. Cleanliness at the highest level. Fresh fruits and herbs from the garden were a pleasant surprise and of course jacuzzi- from which you can watch the stars at night!
