This ground floor apartment suited my needs. It is very spacious, modern, very clean, quiet and convenient to the hospital where I was visiting daily. Emma and Mike were exceptionally helpful to me, and welcoming in their beautiful home. It felt like home from home. It’s very close to the centre with shops and cafés and restaurants and a lovely walk by the river nearby.

Gudrun was lovely as was her Dog Cece. Beautiful courtyard and an Ideal location. Lagoa feels very safe and the Locals are very friendly. Supermarkets and restaurants all within walking distance and the Bus station a few minutes away.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The place is big & spacious, great location, enough for a group, & enough facilities to get ready. Nice & simple design to keep nice & tidy, great space outside to take pictures & enjoy the sun. The apartment was beautiful and Ricardo was a great host. He has prepared great tips for excursions, beaches and restaurants. The location of the apartment is also perfect for exploring Carvoeiro on foot or for beautiful trips, for example to the Benagil cave or 7 valleys walking trail.
The room had everything that we needed, it was exceptionally clean and the outdoor area was lovely. Carla was a great host, and nothing was too much trouble. Great location within easy reach of everything. We would definitely stay again.
The appartment was well located, just a few min walk down to the city centre. Lovely views , with the different choice of balconies in function of the day progress and wind direction, which made staying here even more enjoyable. It was well equipped and very tidy. Filip was a great host with good communication ensuring our every need.
