What can I say? The place was more than excellent. I usually don't give reviews BUT I couldn't let this one pass me by without acknowledging all the plus factors of Txaleta!
The place:
Even though, the place still had some ongoing constructions these did not even caused a bit of a negativity in my mind. The place was superb, with an adorable panoramic view of vitamin sea. What else can one ask for? Peaceful and good for people who wanted serenity ( nature tripping ).
Glamping is one great experience. Fantasy fulfilled :) fully airconditioned, clean, elegant, tranquil space with a private bath and restroom to go with it.
The food:
Delicioso... filled with a twist of tasteful culinary presentation. Simply mouth watering and gloriously gastronomic. Prices were reasonable.
The ates ( esp. Chai ):
We were super pampered. Everyone were so welcoming and so eager to fulfill every wants and wishes we needed. We felt like family :)

No ifs, no buts... they're the best hosts one can come across with. They were a great couple who made us feel so genuinely welcomed not only as their guests but as if we are their old, close friends. Dear friends indeed. They always granted every wish we needed. Actually, we felt so spoiled. Lucky and thankful to have met new friends as they are.

The property is well managed and has an amazing garden. We arrived 6 hours early; however, the property didn't charge us anything extra. The host was extremely courteous and cooperative. The property has a well maintained kitchen and a cozy dining area and lounge. The location is excellent and public transport to Mambajao is easily available. The host arranged affordable private transportation that took us to all the major tourist attractions on the island.

The space was amazing ! Very large cottage, super clean and the AC was quiet and worked really well. The kitchen was very convenient - we cooked breakfast and dinner every night. The small outdoor space was great in the mornings to relax and enjoy a coffee. The hosts were very responsive when we needed things and their dogs kept us company the whole trip. Would love to come back again.

Great hostel, the location was perfect. Really quiet and peaceful area, next to the beach and a great spot for sunsets. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Also they arranged a hike to Hibok-Hibok and the guide was so good. I did another hike with the same guide too which was amazing
I loved this homestay. The owner was amazing and gave me a snorkel to use free of charge as well as getting a tour guide sorted for hiking the mountain. She was so accommodating. I would highly recommend this stay!

This has been one of the best places we had during our 3 weeks holiday in multiple locations in Philippines. Jerome is a great guy, keeping the cleaning (and confort) standards of the property very high, being also a great host and briefing us about our visiting options on the island. The fact that he could rent us a car has been also a big plus for us. Overall, the complex has a very pleasant vibe and we felt extremely well here!
Amazing Homestay! Incredible location on the waterfront where you can watch sunrise over the ocean. Quiet spot, 10 minutes away from Mambajo. I booked a twin room which was large and comfortable and had two double beds in it and two large windows with a sea view. The shared kitchen has everything you need in it, plus you can watch the ocean while cooking. Abbie and her family are so helpful and lovely, making you feel right at home.
Lovely hosts! Abegail and Jay-r are such friendly people and really want to make you feel at home. They even gave us some free fruits and borrowed us their snorkling masks. The rooms are great for the price and there is multiple bathrooms. The location is really close to Balbagon Port, so great if you are arriving from or leaving to Bohol after. I ended up staying way longer in Camiguin then I planned and one of the reasons was because of how great my stay here at Shey's traveller inn was :)
Great hostel with nice staff and good food! Breakfast and dinner being included is awesome to meet the other people staying there. The hostel is in a great location and the rooms are comfortable! Would recommend staying here and hopefully come back again in the future!
The constructions that they told us about were also no problem, as they only do it at times you would be awake and probably exploring anyway!
