Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We enjoyed our stay here. The Homestay is located in a more rural area around 5 Minutes (by motorbike) from the city center. The room was clean and the shower had good water pressure. There’s no AC in the room, but the Fan works quite well. We really liked the kitchen, where we were able to cook our own meals. The owner of the Homestay also assists you with getting a Tricycle, to go wherever you need to go.
Roberto and his wife are great hosts. I enjoyed the long chats with Roberto. Roberto was also so kind to give me a lift on his motorbike which was much appreciated.
The food in the attached restaurant was good and the staff very nice.
The room was large.
